I live in a blue state and yet there is still a significant minority of those of us who are red. I'm not an idiot but I grew up here and my husband, who is no spring chicken, is invested in his livelihood here. It's a tough position to be in. I have caught myself longing to be with "my kind" meanwhile dreading moving my still-minor children and digging out 20+ yrs of crap from my husband's inherited childhood home. You become indignant at one point, angry that YOU should leave your home just because [THEY] are evil. If I don't stand my ground, and others don't, how will these blue states become red? Should we just pack up and run and let the DS win? Won't we become like a country split down the middle between red and blue?
I think my Dem senator Murphy, and congresswoman Laura DeRosa, didn't even win. I think they cheated because no one even likes them.
Should we just let them get away with this?

2016. I was watching both the CNN and BBC coverage if the US election - being a Brit, LEGAL resident alien, I was interested to see tbe coverage from both sides of the pond. At that time I thought both wete journalistic paragons.

After just a few moments of switching between the two, I realized they were both reciting the same script!

I sat up, and said outloud, "They are lying!"

That was my red pill moment.
