I read several years ago about the 99 years lease and how you can never really own the land. One article I read stated leases are renewable but eventually the land will go back to the people. I assumed the people meant those native to that area. But with this happening could it mean the state???

And where does the money go that people are donating to relief groups?? I have at least 3 people on my FB page who are organizing a “send your donation to Red Cross for Maui relief “ same people who organized Ukraine fundraiser. These people are in a continuous loop

Something that is bothering me about land ownership talk in Hawaii. Long time ago I remember reading something and also it was talked about on a documentary. True land ownership isn't possible in Hawaii unless you are a native born to those islands and have a family line to show it. I remember it was said you can never own the land and if you purchase something in the Hawaiian islands you are merely buying a lease on the property for 99 years. After 99 years, the lease can be renewed. Just something to put out there.

I remember when prilosec first came out. I was friends with a pharmacuetical sales person. This was 20+ some years ago when we still all drank like fish. She would hand out samples of this product and would tell everyone this was great for hangovers too. There was a time when I would eat loads of this like candy before we would go out. Strange thing started happening after a few months of doing this, i started developing acid reflux!! The very thing it was supposed to "cure" I quit taking it of course, haven't touched it since. Lesson learned: don't trust a snake/oil salesperson even if it is/was a friend.

I know too many people who suffer/ed from diverticulitis. Most had operations to remove the portion of their colon “shredded” from the disease. All unnecessary if indeed this castor oil packs work. Just another thing hidden 😡
