My community has a couple of big headed real estate agents. One has a reputation for setting the price on houses at a undervalued price so they sell quickly. People flock to him because he is so “good” at selling houses.
He wasn’t involved in any transaction when I purchased my house. But within a year of buying he turned over 5 houses in my neighborhood where selling prices were about 25% less than previous year’s purchases Comparable (comps) were confusing to everyone and making a lot of people mad.
