Amazing Texans are helping each other. I don't know if it is across the state. People are going to neighbors to check on each other. We have no water. A local brewery is canning water and having it available for anyone who needs it. The volunteer fire department here made spaghetti dinners for anyone in need and delivered to those who couldn't pick up. Others are making sure everyone knows where you can get bottled water for free. Many areas have electricity back on but many have no water. Pump stations froze during the rolling blackouts. Prayers for all!!!!

We are doing pretty good in my area now. It has been in the 20s today. Lowest temp -3. No water. Pumping stations froze during the rolling blackouts. We are very rural and had been preparing for the possibility of an ice storm or strong thunderstorm knocking down trees and power lines. Several years ago, we got a generator that runs on propane and two propane heaters. I do not understand the need for the whole state to be on rolling blackouts. We have helped out others, but most out here are ok. I am more worried about the elderly. Many will need checked on. Hang in there Texas!

The snow hasn't been melting because it is too cold. It will definitely melt. Once the heat has been on and it is warmer outside, it is melthing off of our roof. The birds have been drinking steadily. It has been in the 20s today, so almost a 30 degree improvement and the wind has stopped blowing. I do find it odd that the entire state of Texas was below freezing. That's a huge area.

It has been better here today, but our outages lasted 5 to 6 hours and then you would get 15 to 20 minutes of electricity and then out again. Now it is no water due to power outages at the pumping shortages and freezing up. We are fine. Have been prepared for ice storms or thunderstorms. I do feel horrible so many that are having major issues.

I hope that all those FEMA camps were destroyed? Any evidence? There needs to be a major turn quickly. People need to realize how close we are to losing everything. I don't know if you can wake up many more people at this point. So many are just focused on their lives, families, and work. Things we all used to focus on. I pray for you all and your families.

I can happily say I have never attended any professional sports games. Quit watching in the early 80s because it was a waste of time to sit and watch wealthy people play. get out of your chair and do something that benefits you and others you know.

i ha e never considered cloning any pet. They are all unique with their own personality. The she.ters are so full of animals that need a good home so I prefer to give those shelter pets a chance for a home.
