Please pray for my lifelong friend (sister) who had to make the most difficult decision of her life. After years of drug and alcohol abuse, her 30 year old son was trying to withdraw and ended up in the hospital. It was too late, his body was too broken. The doctors are removing the ventilator at 10:00am Central time. I’m so heartbroken for her and that sweet boy.

Another young American lost. Another shattered family.

I just found out that my mom had a stroke and is going into surgery. Praying for my sweet mom. 🙏

OUR ANONUP SISTER NEEDS OUR PRAYERS

It has been a very hectic and emotionally draining week thus far here on the farm. Many of you know that I care for my 92 yo father who has dementia. He is now facing yet another life changing move that I've come to relay and ask for your prayer support. We are fighting to keep him from leg amputation. His legs and their vein and artery structures are failing, and in areas, already failed.

Today is the vascular surgeon meeting to determine if stents will work. If she can't stent, amputation is next.

I'm not quite sure he is strong enough both physically and mentally to handle this at 92 with dementia. His leg infection doesn't respond to treatments any longer.

This is Dad... a man that served his country and worked 2 and 3 jobs to feed 5 children keeping us clothed and housed, all the while maintaining his US Navy service abroad and at home. He always made sure he was there for us.

The other day I stumbled across this picture while out running errands. I bought it and hung it up the same day, it just spoke to me. Same day I was talking to mom who has been really struggling since dad died three weeks ago.

I was telling her that I felt his spirit, saw signs everywhere, like he was sending me messages letting me know he was ok and things will be alright. Losing him has really shattered what faith she had and so her grieving process has been extra rough. Have been helping her the best I can, headed to see her again tomorrow and spend a few days with her. She said she misses being able to hug someone every day. 😢

Later that night I was walking down the hallway and the picture I had just hung was super crooked, I mean really crooked. I had even put quake hold on the corners to keep it in place. All I could think was that it was dad...confirming the pic's message. 💗🙏🏼
