Update: he is stable but diagnosed with metabolic acidosis.

Praying they can sort this out 🙏🏼

One of our team members was found unconscious on the side of the road today. The only info I have at the moment is they had to restart his heart twice and he’s in ICU. He’s an elderly gentleman who is the caretaker for his wife who has Parkinson’s.
Please lift up Wayne and his family in this uncertain time. Thank you.

#prayerteam update

Mom had a lot of pain last night. Buuut today she had her NG tube pulled today! Now her pain is significantly reduced, she’s been up to the chair multiple times and even walked a few times!

She really turned a big corner within the last 24 hours. God is good!!!

#prayerteam update:

Mom was transferred to ICU overnight after having a cardiac event (SVT) + cardioversion. She had her surgery today to correct her hiatal hernia/gastric volvulus. She also had a partial small bowel resection d/t a ruptured diverticulum.

This all sounds pretty terrible but I am encouraged they were able to surgically correct both issues in the same procedure. The thing that sucks is she’s had a nasogastric tube and has been NPO since Thursday and will remain in place until Wednesday.

Currently she is stable, resting and hopefully stepping down in acuity with each day that passes. Praying for healing, recovery and return to normalcy.
