However, making the population mature enough to see that, responsibility for actions is important.

Say you have (for instance) a plot of land, you now also have responsibility to your neighbors for what you do on it - ie putting a 4 story building on a 2 acre lot in a country area that cuts light to your neighbor, is not good for them, no matter how you justify it for you and yours.

The process of building the 'self regilation' ie maturing into the population is going to take more than one generation... and having a free house and food is not going to contribute to that process for many, as those things (house and food and the internet) are all they want out of life.

Folk mature through struggle, it seems to me.

Socialism is Communism with patience, and we must avoid, at all costs finding ourselves back in the thrall of gov - or any other entity filling that role, by whatever name.

They are two different things. Sales tax and state tax. When i do my taxes..sales tax is filed under federal. State tax we skip because we do not have state tax.

You will only pay sales tax on NEW items such as a new vehicle. A used one you will not. So Sales tax will only be paid once to that item. Tariffs is whats going to keep us afloat. State tax may or may not stay around. Texas doesnt have state tax and I really dont think we will ever either. there may be an increase in that sales tax though. Texas is 8.25%. other states are less but have state tax. I think maybe something like 14% across the board for newly purchased items. Might only be for big purchases and maybe not shampoo or alike. The final decision will come soon. I am ready. Either way it will be good.
