The forces of Syria’s new self-proclaimed “interim president” a Salafist, Sunni Muslim who currently goes by the name Ahmed al-Shara, over this past weekend lined up civilians, both Alawites and Christians, against the wall and executed them. Their crime: Infidelity to Salafism, a strict interpretation of Islamic law.

It is an exciting time to be alive and that excitement can also be a bit of a hindrance because the waiting can be agonizing. It is a joy to be a part of something so spiritual and historic, and also frustrating because we want this to move along as quickly as possible. A mixture of joy, sadness, relief, hope and peace. 😇

Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa were found partially-mummified at the couple's $3.3 million mansion, with pills strewn in their bathroom.

Arakawa, 64, was found decomposed with bloating on her face and mummification in her hands and feet.

Sheriffs said Hackman was found to have the same signs of decomposition as his wife.

Begay and Kesler told investigators they hadn't seen them for two weeks.

Both appear to have been dead for some time.

Arakawa was discovered lying on the bathroom floor of the couple's home, with an open prescription bottle of pills scattered across a nearby countertop.

Hackman was found dead in a mud room off the couple's kitchen, the warrant said.

The Oscar-winning Superman star was fully clothed. His sunglasses were found next to his body, suggesting he may have died of a sudden fall.

There were no signs of a gas leak.

wow. this is wonderful and from a respected california professor who i have seen for years.. he is absolutely right. i wish i could have been in one of his classes (unknown how he kept his job or maybe retired already..) thank you for sharing this very short but dynamic account of what actually has happened to our country..
