I ask myself this question often. But I do believe we have to experience our deepest darkness in order to make the conscious choice to level up. No matter how good we are or how much practicing and meditating we do we are still human. So our ego roars it's lovely head when we are comfortable "creating our 5d" world. It sneaks up on us. It will never go away until we completely embrace what is darkest and deepest and saddest inside ourselves. No amount of meditating and good vibe thoughts will erase the part of you you are meant to face. To stare down and disect. Once you allow it to BE a part of this journey of ascension, only then, can we go higher. Denying a part of yourself or trying to compartmentalize the parts of you you are here to learn the most from keeps you longer and farther from your goal.
