🔴GAME OVER: Sony fires exec after vigilante ‘pedo sting’

A high-ranking Playstation engineer has been fired by Sony, after footage was published by an internet group which exposes child predators.

64-year-old George Cacioppo, a senior VP at Sony Interactive Entertainment, was allegedly caught on camera attempting to hook up with a decoy posing as a 15-year-old boy, in a sting operation organized by YouTube channel People vs. Preds.

The video, along with screenshots of Grindr chats between Cacioppo and the decoy, quickly went viral. Sony was quick to act, responding to reporters with a statement which said the ‘employee in question’ had been terminated.

It’s not clear if the police are currently involved, as no official response from law enforcement has been released.
