I lost investment property and my business, but thankfully my house was paid off.
The banks were stringing people along under the guise of ' trying to work something out' but had no intention of refi's or short sales; after 6 months or so, they'd swoop in and foreclose.
It was their plan all along.
Bank of America was the worst!
So many people lost so much.
Now we know mortgages are fraudulent because the money for the loan comes not from the bank, but from our cestui que vie.
It will be a great day when the bankers get their comeuppance 🤨

In 2012 the turnout to vote AGAINST him was so vast that lines poured out of the polling places and down the streets. Voting hours were greatly extended to accommodate the crowds.

We were waiting in one of those long lines at 10:00pm (!) when we were notified the 'election' was called for Obama.

Had a friend a few years back who was smart, funny, and a good business woman. She had a great personality.....until the darkness in her would manifest. It was controlling; condescending; judgmental. It would tell everyone what to do, and pushed for obedience. Others could feel the darkness coming from her, and avoided her because of it. I also chose to walk away from the drama.
It was such a shame, because she had so very many great qualities. Yet the darkness overwhelmed them.

They should be able to discern the abusers, particularly the generational abusers, by the length of time each recipient has been on the program, among other factors.

There's so much fraud in the system -- some people are on welfare 10-20-30-40 years, and raise their kids and grandkids to be on it, too. Their food, housing, and electricity is paid by taxes from working people. It breeds worthlessness in those scamming the system, and contempt from those being forced to foot the bill.

Same thing with disability. There are some who are genuinely disabled, and others who fake disability because they're lazy.

Theres a difference between UNABLE and UNWILLING.
The unwilling should not be allowed to take from a system instituted to protect the unable.

The SNAP program needs a massive overhaul, as does the entire welfare system which is fraught with abuse.
It should be a HAND UP to help those who find themselves on hard times.
It has become a HAND OUT for those who choose not to work.
People who do work provide the money for the system that allows those who WON'T work to suck the teats of the gov't cash cow.

I remember the first housing project built in my small town in the 70's. Within ONE YEAR the apartment complex was trashed, but several of the residents had new Cadillacs parked outside. Priorities 🙄🤦‍♀️.

Knew a guy whose mother lived in NYC. She came from a Caribbean island in the 70s, started doing drugs in the 80s, and has lived on food stamps and Section 8 ever since. Our tax $$ at work 🤬

We allow - and thus encourage - sloth, helplessness, and an entitlement mentality that's passed on through generations.
Bad behavior should not have beneficial consequences.

The demon(s) she had invited in through the paganism and all seeing eye KNEW that they had been recognized.
She backed away from me, and in a deep masculine voice said over and over, "I'm getting away from you! I'm getting away from you!"

That stuff is evil and very real, having very real consequences.
