When my Ginger girl passed, we still had 2 boys so it wasn’t like we didn’t have any fur baby love. Had we not had them I probably wouldn’t have waited a year to get another baby girl, or maybe i would’ve.. I couldn’t even look at another pit or any dog that resembled her for a very long time without sobbing. But even with these boys, there was still something missing. Which is why we got our Willow girl. And sometimes I think she was sent to us by our Ginger. Their personalities are incredibly similar. These pittie girls are something special. Do what works for you and your family. Even though it’s heartbreaking when they leave you… I can’t imagine not having the unconditional love of a dog in our home. 🥰

So sorry to hear that. Losing a fur baby is always gut wrenching. We had our pittie girl Ginger for 9 years. She was a rescue that we got when she was about 2. We had to put her down also in Oct 2021. It broke my heart. Finally got a new baby girl Willow in Nov 22 It helped my heart heal a little. Sending you love and prayers.
