what to do?
I got a Christmas list from a 12 year old family member that her mother sent to me and other family members, asking for expensive Christmas gifts (why does a 12 year old want or need expensive Sephora makeup?).
And the tween won't call, or text, or speak to me because of the woke dad?
No, I am not doing this shit any more.
I am pissed. Not hurt anymore, but seriously pissed.
Parents are divorced. Dad has a baby mommy and not married. All woke.
And Fuck these effing nose rings on women!!!!

Go to the dollar store and get a lovely spiritual themed Christmas card, address to the daughter, and write a kind note explaining that you cannot afford any of her gift requests this year. If you want to include a gift card for a small amount like $25 or so that she can use towards a purchase of something. Just an idea. 😉

Thank you for the support and ideas.
I am on the spiritual Christmas card agenda as of yesterday. I went yesterday to the Dollar Store and bought a bunch of cards with that in mind. And they all say Merry Christmas, not this happy holiday garbage.
I am not shopping for junk this year. At least cash will pay for groceries or gas for parents, and children that I don't see all year long don't seem to appreciate what I send for them.
Sending lots of love

Yes it is IMO best to be a good example of grace while at the same time teaching a lesson of being polite, and thankful. A token gift that can be taken to a store helps kids realize how much more money they need for that purchase of the expensive item. Then they can choose to put it towards, or pay for a less expensive choice.😉God bless you!

Thank you for your help and support. I am planning to get gift cards later this weekend. But I want to make a list and think about the message I want to send them for what kind of gift card. I prefer it to be for necessities, not luxuries at this stage. Totally opposite of when they were innocent babies.
