Thank you for your prayers. I took a leap of faith leaving my previous job to find something in alignment with my principles, values, and beliefs. Today I signed an offer letter for an executive level position higher than my last, better pay, gets me out of L.A., and perfect alignment with my values and beliefs. Tried walking into my local YMCA today to work out and was stopped at the front door by two masked managers telling me about the new L.A. County Public Health policy requiring proof of vax status or negative Covid test starting today. I thought it was a good thing mask requirements have been lifted, but no... this has just given them the ability to check vax cards at the door (since that's the only way they know if you can wear a mask or not). Vax cards have only been required for certain types of businesses, now it will be for EVERY business. MUST GET OUT OF L.A.!!!! (2 screenshots of policy)

Appreciate prayers, please. I resigned from my executive leadership job end of November 2021 because of the vaccine mandate policy at work. We were all working from home and had 15 days to submit a medical or religious exemption if we were not vaccinated. If approved, you had to test TWICE each week (even though we were working from home). I just found out today I was disqualified and not eligible for unemployment. I had started applying and interviewing for jobs July last year, anticipating that I might resign, due to a vaccine mandate at work (since the CEO talked about it every day). Without unemployment, I will run out of savings end of April or May if I really skimp. Even though you are strangers, I know your prayers will help. Thank you.

Well... I resigned from an executive level position due to the vaccine mandate; without another job in place. It's scary but at the same time I have hope for a better opportunity. And I might have to move to another state, which is fine with me! I'd rather get out of L.A. I do feel relief and at peace with my decision, which I think is good.

I need an attorney; any recommendations? Employer mandatory vaccination policy put in place this week requires first dose by Sept. 30 or submit a medical or religious exemption and be tested twice per week (even though we are remote). My doctor is not available for an appointment until Oct. 27. If not vaccinated or an exemption submitted (signed by doctor or pastor corroborating religion) by Sept. 30, automatically placed on UNPAID LEAVE OF ABSENCE with no benefits for up to 30 days; no termination to collect unemployment. I have not signed anything and HR said we don't need to sign this new policy.

The FDA DID approve the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine today. I think some are just misunderstanding the terminology, or not reading the material.

I've been experiencing DISCRIMINATION at work for not being vaccinated. No one has understood until this week when one of my managers had to reveal without saying that she wasn't vaccinated and then barred from in person job duties and experienced BLATANT hostility at work. She called me in despair that some kind of discrimination protections should be in place for unvaccinated people/employees. I agree whole heartedly and will fight for this and would be the one to lead precedence for this!!
