Forgive my ignorance on Bible topics but have a question...

Jesus died and was resurrected but did he eventually end up dying of old age?

The Bible states that He came back from the grave, spent time with His disciples and ascended to Heaven💖

So it was like a spirt form Jesus. That makes sense. What did they do with the flesh and bones of Jesus? Did they dig them back up when Jesus reappeared?

I consider this all some kind of Test of the Soul purgatory.

So reincarnation = failed test.

However, If we pass then we can travel freely thru all timelines.

As a catholic we are told not to believe in reincarnation. However, the Ascension of Christ makes me think different. I have read a series of books by Dr. Brian Weiss. He has done past life regression studies for years. Many of the assertions being voiced here are confirmed in his studies. The only way to progress as a soul is to learn/teach/and spread love. Many of the people in our lives have been with us throughout the ages in some form of relationship, whether it be father, mother, child, sibling, etc. Some of his subjects have had conversations/lessons with "Masters"; which makes me think of Admiral Byrd's experience in the Antarctic with the Master and the Nordic escorts he had; which in turn makes me wonder about the Virgin Mary. Was the Archangel Gabriel one of the Nordic beings mentioned by Admiral Byrd. Is the Holy Spirit one of the Masters? I realize this is very off the wall thinking, but I can't help but wonder.
