Perhaps layers are like "divisions" when the Child's mind fractures in it's effort to protect the Child from remembering the trauma. The way I comprehend it is when the poor Child's personality splits as a result of the horrific trauma the Cabal subjects the Child to under MK ULTRA, it creates Alters or multiple personalities and I think it was Gene Decode who mentioned that a Demon can actually possess or occupy one of the Alters, literally controlling and tormenting the Child from one of the multiple personalities...literally from within.
