The giant fallacy of any NDA is that it is a contract. And any contract that requires a party to ignore a crime is null and void. Witnessing a crime and then doing nothing is aiding and abetting, making the silent party a participant in the crime.

Agree, although we have no idea of the NDA he may have signed. Imagine for his position it would be very detailed about what can and can't be disclosed under the implication of national security.
Thought I read somewhere that NDA's were no longer legal if it involved children... or is that yet to come? Those that thought they were/are safe because of witnesses signing an NDA will be in a panic when that happens.
