Kat, I could get in trouble for saying this, but I hate social security!
I'm sure you've heard this a gazillion times,
or maybe a bit less; anyway, we work our whole lives, have a portion of our paycheck sent to city, state and federal tax collection agencies, and pay all kinds of other taxes.
Then we retire and get measly peanuts upon which we are supposed to be Soooo happy, and some folks are not really able to survive.
Irony: every time I see SS as abbreviation for Social Security, my thought goes directly to Nazi SS, Germany, WW2.
It would be great if we had a "KID ROCK" for retires!

The price of cars new and used to go up. Price of gas never decreased and I’m trying to get a 2 grandkids something for Easter, you can’t buy candy it’s full of poison and the toys are demonic & books mostly about witchcraft- I’ve spent $100 so far this is ridiculous / the toys aren’t even cool or fun 😔

This winter I bought air dry clay and some sculpting tools at Hobby Lobby, along with some paint and cheap canvases. Then found on pinterest how to make air dry clay even cheaper!
Bonus both granddaughter and I had a blast making things and painting. It's not how expensive the gift is, it's the time enjoying each others company.

Maybe go to eBay for older toys-made that are in great shape.
I got Micro Machines for my grandson because when he was four, he loved cars.
Now, age 16, he cherishes them. They are really cool: made with details you don't see nowadays.
Don't know about stuff for girls, except jewelry.
If not eBay, there are a lot of other online places to get bargains. I've had to find them bc of being financially under the weather, also.
And btw, I just got fuel and the price was lower than it has been in a long time.
I am holding on for changes that will help us.
