Before Noah it does not appear that it rained on the Earth.
So prior to the flood
how were the plants watered?
[Hydroponically.]
It looks like the Earth had a solid shell about 20 miles above
made of compressed hydrogen.
Imagine this hard shell over the Earth
like a clear glass lens & it magnifies things
so you could see distant stars much brighter, closer
even the planets would have been literally visible in the sky
even though we need a telescope to see em today.
How did the Ancients know about these other planets
if they didn’t have telescopes?
The Dogon tribe in Africa claim their ancestors
were these Fish people that came to the Earth,
Space explorers [from Sirius].
Enoch, in the Book of Enoch
talks about being caught up into the Heavens
& seeing the Titans [Saturn]
as he was going above the Earth
& saw the planets in their courses
& the orb of the Earth... 🌎

Genesis 2v6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

Check out Genesis 7:11 - the account of the flood says that not only did it rain, but the fountains of the deep burst forth. Water came from below the earth's crust as well as from the sky. The proverbs passage tells us that God was the one who fixed them, Genesis tells us that God let the waters loose.

It would be reasonable to assume that these manifested themselves in the form of underwater volcanoes - fissures in the earth's crust that resulted in the water below rising to cause the flood.
