this 14 year old was just found murdered, her mother's boyfriend had molested her for 3 yrs, he beat her, was arrested her mom bailed him out, then the child went missing, FBI are involved, CPS, judge, law enforcement, teachers, most importantly the mother failed this child and so many more. they found her journal in school documenting the abuse. i can say the community has come together to fight for justice. neither mom or abuser have been arrested yet. #justiceforkierrajackson

We can all look at everyone and every situation with a skeptical eye.
As this point it is probably a natural instinct.
Talking about the abuse of children and calling out the perpetrators is a Huge Beginning.
There are so many more that will hopefully feel inclined to speak out now.

Most thankful for the rescued children having people who care and are able to heal them so they avoid the hell of trying to deal with the damage on their own. The whole gambet of destructive emotions a child has… not all make it out.

I am a survivor.
She's right, the affects demons that won't leave.
Sadly, some survivors become perpetrators. Some repeat the trauma in & of themselves, fantasy porn, whatever.
Some turn to chemicals for solace, more demons there.
It's all connected.
Trauma, any trauma, takes a person away from themselves.
Everything is personal, so each situation is different.
Again, she's right, open dialogue is a beginning.

All current therapy modalities are a joke, which adds to the trauma
Women somehow get passed it, at least somewhat, more than men
