Can I please ask for prayers… my daughter ( Down Syndrome ) has severe sleep apnea and won’t wear the mask because it scrares her so much. She has a heart condition which makes it worse. I keep praying for miracles, nothing is working. She is my life. Please if yall dont mind. 🙏🏻

I looked up the sleep apnea mask and that is awful stuff... I feel her dislike of it...😞 Can you try something like audio books in the evenings before bedtime... to get her in a calm and soothed state... then when she is dosing off in that sitting/inclined position you could attach the apnea mask...? I hope everything will be alright for you both. sending a big hug💗

When she did end up falling asleep did she sleep through the night ok..? I mean.. without that mask? Could her bed be set up to be like an inclined plane....? Just trying to brainstorm with you, my love. I'm sorry you're going through this anxious time...

I have been trying to figure out something here around the house that I can use to incline her bed.

Amazon has "bed risers". You can get a couple of the strongest bed risers and place them under the legs of the headboard side... choose the 5" ones. They have all kinds of risers. And they are within 10-15 dollars. In fact, I would love to use this strategy for overall health, myself! My beds are so darn heavy, will have to figure out how to lift the bed🙃

I will check them out. Sadly her dad wont give any support and makes me beg for help. Right now I have 3.00… I am gonna have to call him in a little while, if he will answer his phone.

Tire jack, maybe (borrow one to lift both heads of the bed)? I have a too-tall four-poster that I've thought could have the legs at the foot end cut just for this. Seriously, I climb up into that thing via step stool and bed bench!
