I'm a school nurse in NJ in a large district and things are grim here too. We are planning to go back March 1st hybrid and the teachers union is kicking up a huge protest again to come in 4 days a week for 4 hours a day. The last two times they won, but I beleive this time they won't. However, in my school alone, out of the 2600 students only 196 are coming in live. Additionaly, my so teaches 2nd grade and he has kids that can't even read and barely write.
