DST is a good example of once something gets added it never goes away. Honestly I prefer DST year round, for those saying kids are waiting on busses in the dark, maybe we need to change the time school starts. It’s proven teenagers do better going later but because of after school sports and activities that would mean a later day. Since when is education supposed to be about all of that? We have so normalized football, cheerleading, basketball etc as being a part of our way of life. Think about it. Objectively. I’m not knocking after school activities or sports. I know they’re good but they have become a way of life anyway enough of my rant. That’s just one little tangent I get on when it comes to DST.

All I can say is I ordered pot roast from Cracker Barrel Saturday night. Ate half. Later started feeling a little dizzy and went to sleep (I’m on a weird sleep schedule right now for work and was trying to stay awake so thought it was that.) An hour later way dizzier, throwing up, headache, stomach cramps. Still not fully recovered. Sad thing is I have beef in my freezer from a quarter cow I purchased and had raised with nothing added to it. Just being lazy after 12 hour work days and finally some time off.

If your bank doesn’t pay you two days early (when they actually receive your money) find one that does. They have the money early. If you don’t get it the bank is sweeping it into overnight investment accounts for two days making money on it.

My bank actually does the opposite. When I pay my credit card bill it’s immediately applied and credit available. Money doesn’t get moved from my bank acct until the next day. Maybe because it’s the same bank. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I conducted training at a company that provides oil for different restaurants once. Kind of in an offhand manner they told us they add a little silicone to the oil to keep it from emulsifying during transit. My face 😳 I already know all about bad oils and fats, and after that job, I won’t eat anything from a restaurant. You don’t know what they cook that food in and you don’t know what’s in those condiments that you’re buying.

I was in Brea on election night and one of the polling places was outside my hotel. I had a unique advantage as my 3rd floor room was directly across from the 3rd floor breezeway where the line was. Still people in line an hour after polls closed and they called Harris. I hadn’t heard till this they are still counting but I heard someone on a show mention he won all swing states and CA. Worked for a food manufacturer for a contract training. Was told they sometimes add a little silicone to the tankers of oil as an anti foaming agent for transport. My eyes when I heard this. 😳 I’ve been anti bad oils for a long time but after seeing the manufacturing side in person I’m vowing to never have a processed product again. I’ve been anti processed food a long time but this made me cut the few I still had completely. And just as bad as processed is restaurant food. It’s no different than processed.
