Night Prayer-Friday, April 26th, 2024

Lord, thank You for helping me see my own helplessness. I was lost without You and didn't even realize it. But You not only opened my eyes to see my lack, but You gave me Your very self to fill me, restore me, and set me on a new path. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Night Inspiration-Friday, April 26th, 2024

It is only when we are emptied that we understand our need to be filled. It is only when we are broken that we seek to be made whole. And when we realize that we are poor in spirit, completely lacking, and helpless, we realize our need for a savior. And Jesus responds to our impoverished spirits by filling us with His Spirit and making us whole, as He calls us from the brokenness of this world to the fullness of eternal life.

I have had the exact same experience. Giving it to God and talking to him everyday has given me so much peace. My internal dialogue and my emotional maturity has grown from that one change. The other day, I received something in the mail that just a few years ago would have set me off. No reaction. I knew it was something I needed to deal with and I was able to do so with peace. Just try it. Start talking to Him. It doesn’t have to be big stuff. Just acknowledge Him and share your thoughts. Thank Him for a beautiful day. Whatever comes to mind. Even if it seems odd at first, keep it up. After awhile, you will do it naturally. It’s not something you need to buy into, just do.

My Father in Heaven, I ask you today to help my brother Reaper in his walk with you. He wants you. Help him to access you and build the most peaceful and beautiful relationship he can imagine. In Yeshua’s name, I thank you for all the relationships that are coming together to unite us all in your name. Amen!

A PRAYER OF TRUST

God, I know that You are good and wise. But sometimes it's hard for me to trust Your plan over my own. Please help me! Take control of my anxious thoughts and fill me with Your wisdom. Thank You that I don't have to navigate this life alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.

WISDOM FROM GOD

If you've ever gone on a trip somewhere you've never been before, you know just how important a map is. Maps help us navigate the unknown areas ahead. Similarly, God's Word helps us navigate through the unknown seasons of life. God's Word reveals God's wisdom, which guides our lives.

Proverbs is a book of wisdom filled with knowledge that helps people live according to God's purposes for their life.

The book of Proverbs begins by acknowledging that everything begins with God.

Because God is the creator of life, He knows what direction our lives should go. Our role, according to Proverbs, is to seek Him, and trust Him. Trusting God means believing that He knows what is best for us, and proving it by having a relationship with Him.

When your friendships are rooted in the love of God, great things will bloom. You will look out for one another and you will see the fruits of your support and encouragement for one another.

Godly friendships glorify God and also serve as testimonies to the people around you. Check your friendships and ask yourself whether they glorify God.

If they dont, pray about them and follow Gods guidance on what to do. Amen.

Friendship should be about bringing the best out of each other. While you enjoy good times and create wonderful memories, you should also focus on building each other up. There are things that you can learn from your friends and there are also things that your friends can learn from you. Godly friendships should be about helping each other grow in your knowledge of God through His Word. The way iron can sharpen iron, is the same way in which you and your friends should sharpen one another. When you leave one another's presence, you should have learned something that will help you grow.
