Alder Hay children’s NHS foundation trust said criminals gained unlawful access to data through a digital gateway service it shares with Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital on Thursday 28 November.

In September 2024 it was announced that the head chief of Alder hey hospital was to step down in October 2024.
