If you have family in nursing homes, check if you can opt out for your relative when it comes to flu and pneumonia vaccines. Flu every fall, Pneumonia with it every 5 years. Does anyone know anybody that has survived more than 5 years in a nursing home? Or, better yet, if you can, keep them at home and care for them yourself.
