I'm in UK. We hear about horrific stuff done to children all the time, for instance, we have a horrific grooming a d r*pe gang problem here which is well documented and discussed. Kids passed around to maybe 20 or so pedos a night. Survivors talk about these horrors.

We know all this, but after a little outcry, it's back to apathy and ... meh.
