I heard about teflon decades ago. Once there's a scratch on the surface...throw it away. It's poison. There way out was putting warnings on the packaging about not using metal utensils. I much prefer cast iron or stainless.

🤣🤣🤣. Man... don't give these younger gals no ideas. I got smacked in the back with a 10"er one time by my girlfriend. I don't remember exactly what I did to piss her off. Probably cause I NEVER did it again. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
