Our government has finally come clean but Sara Westall wonders why "I am frankly surprised the government has come out with an official study proving these crimes occurred in the United States. It leaves me questioning why?
After all, their lack of actions prove they don’t care about solving the human trafficking and tragic issues at the border. So why now address issues with Native Americans in the United States? Will they also address the increased trafficking issues from the reservations still occurring today? Or is this another whitewash activity where they will issue an empty apology to gain some leverage or are they simply trying to create more social chaos?
Regardless, until we see action that actually reduces human trafficking both on the reservations and at the border, apologies are empty and meaningless."
