I have personally flown in the back of a Blackhawk many, many times.

I have seen first hand how capable they are of performing amazing arial acrobatics with last-second, highly aggressive moves, even while flying at 175 mph at tree top levels and being full of passengers.

I have experienced both positive and negative G-forces in them due to some pretty radical changes in elevation.

No Blackhawk pilot would somehow run into a well-lit, slow moving aircraft on approach
