It appears that the following is happening:

Every bank is going to have to adopt digital assets plain and simple.

Ripple team knew this.

Banks either play ball or they die. They have huge problems anyway with gold and silver reserves. They play ball by commiting to digital wallets and the conversion protocol for fiat into digital.

So when the banks utilize CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies) or some other token for smaller banks, they will need a protocol to convert FIAT into digital to be stored in customers digital wallets.

Because these are all tokens on the blockchain they will have to use a blockchain based protocol.

Well, just look at the fees with BTC, ETH. There’s no question this conversion protocol is going to be done using XRP due the .0001 fee.

Oh and by the way, XRP is not only built for this but is also using the ISO20022 standard whereas other tokens aren’t.

Are you grasping magnitude of this yet?

So screw everyone that doesn't have a computer, smart phone, etc.
Screw everyone that doesn't want to live in the "fast lane".
Screw the poor.
Screw the Amish.
Screw those who just want to be left alone.
I'd rather die than to be forced to enter into another form of slavery.

I totally agree, I like cash, and only use my debt card if I have to order on line. I know people who don't have a computer or (like me) don't have a phone connected to the internet.

I don't have a smart phone, either. I tried one but it put me in pre-seizure mode (I have epilepsy). I sent it back and traded it for a flip phone. The flip phone only worked for a little over a year and I finally said, "Screw it!" and I now only have a landline.

It truly is another form of slavery to force people to use a digital system. This morning, after a night of reflecting on just how screwed up everything and everyone is, I wouldn't mind if I went to sleep and never woke up. Sorry to sound so morose, but I would be lying if I said anything differently.

Thank you for your comment, much appreciated.

Sounds much like me lol…, I tried a ‘swipe type ph’ a few yrs ago, but took it back, 'cos I started to feel a panic rising within me… there was way too much stuff on it, I don’t understand/need or want, all I wanted was an idiot proof phone with a decent camera in it. Lol... I have a simple flip-open, pay-as-U-go ph' now (with a really crap camera) but hey, it works for fine in emergencies.

I’ve struggled all my life with what only a few yrs ago learnt is known as a ‘high functioning asperger’ girl, plus I’m dyslexic re’ numbers mostly and I avoid (new) techy stuff as much as I can.

Sorry to learn about you experiencing epilepsy, how well can you manage that? Does it affect you day to day in a big way? Sorry to sound so nosy, asking what are probably silly questions, but I feel you honestly, any issues I have are nothing compared to living with what I imagine can be triggered so unexpectedly.

I have mild epilepsy, which only means that I'm not fighting off dozens of seizures a day. The thing is, none of my seizures have been mild - they have been gran mal and very terrifying if someone tries to rouse me to consciousness. I've only had a couple of seizures that didn't terrify me because the person just let me come to on my own.

I'm not stupid, as some might suppose, just because I don't like all of this complicated bullshit they keep coming up with. I just have a very strong aversion to it. There's something about this "fast lane", high tech world that doesn't feel right. That's why it stresses me out.

I'm not a tapper and a swiper - I'm a button pusher and a typist.

I have noticed that, since this high tech shit came along, people are becoming less REAL. I can handle the BIG SHIT that other people are scared of and get all panicky about - that's because God is bigger than it all. It's this little shit in a million COERCED doses that stresses me out.

Sorry for late reply, lots going on at the mo’ as I’m sure you know.
I agree with everything you say. I understand the ‘let me be and I’ll be OK re’ seizures’ even though I’ve not experienced them.
I hope you don’t mind me saying but you sound like a wonderfully strong, well grounded Human, who’s able to deal with situations, many would Really Struggle with.

I’ve never been one to ‘run with the ‘flock’, I chose instead to follow gut instinct/intuition, often it sends me in the opposite direction to the crowds, ‘cos I’m happy to investigate where others dear not go. I want to learn about stuff ‘they’ are afraid or unprepared to know. Knowing the truth, no matter how horribly and unbelievably painful it is, in my view preferable to believing the lies. But for some reason others including family, seems to consider me stupid for seeing the world in they different way then most. But I'm absolutely OK with that🙂.

I don't tend to follow the crowd either, because usually the crowd is wrong. The other thing is that these "new" things are usually hyped and people just rush to jump on without thinking about the long-term ramifications.
