Something I have yet to see regarding this incident is any mention that Alec Baldwin had a starring role in The Hunt for Red October, a major Hollywood film from 1990 based on the Tom Clancy novel of the same title. Since it is a huge 'catch-phrase' for the Q drops and a time frame we are all currently experiencing, I'd venture to say the whole incident has major 'Comms' all over it.
