Only a few of us would take a wild fighting dog and make him a family guy, insanely great watch dog but great with people when walking him, go figure

My pop told me when I was 18 that nobody is going to give you a retirement. I started saving when I was 24, never stopped and maxed out retirement accounts. That was in 76., he was right. I did 15 years in a supermax and do have a 3400 a month retirement, but the only reason I got that was dealing with the worst of the worst. social security will try to make the least payment possible. Caught them cold when I had them revue employment history and they said I fell 4 years short. My payment went from 2300 a month to 2100 and I can live with that. I’m hearing from teachers who only get 800 a month. Just don’t seem right, but you gotta fight

State and federal agencies lie to you about social security. If you’ve put in anywhere 30 years in private sector before you work for state or federal you got a decent check coming. I was only short 4 years and I’m getting what it showed in 21 minus the Medicare payment

A year ago I adopted a 5 y/o black lab who had been chained up outside on a concrete pad and not allowed in the house. We live in AZ -he has several scars on his legs from the heat 🙁
(I later found out he had originally been a service dog for a woman who went into a facility) He’s absolutely amazing and loved sooo much.

Going to an animal shelter will make you cry, at least I did. Had to leave, got a wild hound that had scars from being tied up for fights. This poor dog ruined all his fangs and short teeth chewing through nylon truck ropes. My son in law found him almost starved to death on a jobsiight in the middle of nowhere. That’s how I got Chip

If you don’t get it, I love that resced dog very much

I let Chip meet as many people as I can, he’s got a new life after the fighting circuit. He was forced into it and now he’s much better. I let him interact with freindly dogs and he’s ok. Just afraid of the on time he’s going to have to throw down

That's pretty much all we can do is share the truth. Even if they don't believe us right now. Truth will be revealed and they will come to realize we were right. They will go through all the stages of shock or anger. That is where we fill in the gap to provide comfort.

I’ve paid into retirement since I was 24, am 66 now I got state retirement, big 401,457, Roth and state lied to me about social security my kids will have a hell of a kicker when I’m gone

I was lied to by California, they told me I couldn’t collect social security. They got it so wrong. Called the other day and confirmed I got 2300 bucks a month coming. Don’t know why California would lie like that. The state pension system demands you don’t pay into social security, yet I paid into it for over 30 years before I went into calpers
