Changing any settings does nothing,
1. Windows store is spyware, the only version without it is Enterprise, which only corporations can buy
2. In al versions, the "Hosts" file re-directs all your traffic to a microsoft server and has to be cleared/Zero'd.
3. Updates have to be turned off, because the updates can change anything back or add anything at any time.
Apple is actually worse.

Windows 10 deleted preloaded programs from my computer, when it first came out. I did a FDR to windows 7, unsupported, which is where I remain.
