I have told people I know FOR YEARS to avoid travel to Mexico, because of the ongoing Cartel-related Violence there. "Don't worry, we're going to a guarded resort," they say. I respond, "And what do you do if a guard is paid off?"
Kidnapping, especially in countries where Narco-Terrorists operate with impunity, is BIG BUSINESS. Kidnappers can extort an entire family's wealth in a ransom demand.
I know Folks whose family members were kidnapped in Mexico, as well as in other Latin American countries, and one Soul who didn't make it out alive.
During these uncertain times, I encourage Americans to vacation here at home, to see America.
Stay where our US Local & Federal Law Enforcement & US Military have jurisdiction to protect our Citizenry.
Maybe visit those States that allow your CCW. 🤠
