YES ol_c - just yesterday I received a call from 888-483-7200 and the man said he was from Verizon Fraud Detection department. He said my Verizon account was in freeze because I had just places orders for more than $3K worth of merchandise. I told him to stop calling me and hung up, He redialed me 6 more times and I blocked his number. Then I called Verizon to check on my account. It took me more than an hour - three different attempts to FINALLY get to the Fraud Detection department. There were no fraudulent charges on my account. It was (as I knew) a scam. Too many people panic and start to answer the caller's questions. They are phishing for your personal data. Best to just hang up and block. Verizon assured me my account was secure. But Verizon should have been more aggressive. I offered to provide the phone number (above) and they said that they did not need to follow up. DUH!!!

Fraudsters especially like to target our Seniors, and often end up taking their retirement savings or WORSE. 🤬
Also, any "government agency" demanding money by phone or text is assuredly FAKE & FRAUDULENT (such as demanding tax payment, or toll bills, parking tickets, etc. - real agencies DON'T TEXT or call), but who's the biggest Fraudster of all?
The IRS is one of the worst Frauds ever perpetrated against the American People, because the IRS was formed as a Private Trust in Puerto Rico! A PRIVATE TRUST! 😱
Then, the 16th Amendment was never Ratified so the IRS engaged in Fraud there again collecting when no Income Tax is ever due.
Then US States that charge Income Tax are also engaging in FRAUD.
WE DON'T OWE INCOME TAX!
And don't even get me started on Property Taxes. That's another FRAUD SCHEME used by these "corporations" posing as government called "THE COUNTY OF ____" who are stealing our wealth and property via FRAUD!
