My internet is so slow tonight my cursor cannot even get out of its own dang way. Web pages hardly load at all, just sit there thinking forever. 🤬

I had so many outages when I had internet service with Spectrum. Last year Verizon finally provided service in my area. The Verizon internet is wireless meaning no cable to my computer. Just plug it in and place the box (about the size of a tissue box) next to a window. It is the fastest internet I ever had. I have not has a single outage in the 18 months since I installed it. Only if the power goes off and hopefully that will not happen.

WiFi at home internet is cheap.....Because they want you to switch, just like they want us all to have cell phones, control , connecting to our bodies and minds to get DATA and have power. We are the batteries. If my power goes out I will still have my hard wired land line phone, my internet is DSL. I think they are raising my price high so I will switch. Remember when all that steeling of the copper was going on ? I think it was "them" taking back the copper and they want more. HARD WIRE EVERYTHING for health and reliability. Those RF HZ are toxic to the body.

I too had Spectrum Brandy and it was awful. My brother got T-Mobile internet, which is 5G Wifi and can use a CAT5 line. I'm not keen on the 5G BS, but the internet is pretty reliable. I'm like ol_cowboy, saving up for a StarLink System. The only pricey part of it, is you have to buy the equipment.

Verizon gives me a 15% discount for being a veteran and another 15% for auto paying my bill with my Verizon Visa. I use the Visa for everything 4%cash back on all groceries, gas and restaurants. I have 3 lines on my account and HSI for less than $150 a month. Pretty reasonable.

from what i read thru comdr val.thor or mr pool there will be power outage to get new system up. but mid august is damned hot in fla.. humidity of 79% and 95 is feeling like 105.. so really not looking forward to that unless we are post white out and all asleep but the dogs and animals arent. lots of water to keep them hydrated dueing this time. my dogs food is human food made so concerned about it being out or the fool dog would eat it all . poor animals will not understand

I had Verizon business , they started out great then started charging exorbitant prices.

So far, I have been very pleased with Verizon. I receive a 15% discount for my service in the Navy, a 15% discount for using my Verizon Visa to auto pay my bill. Verizon sent me 2 separate gifts worth more than $500 during my first 12 months. So far, I have been treated more than fair.
