Heaven is not a place we are waiting around to go to. It's a place we are called to bring here on earth. We get to see it in little moments and glimpse it from time to time. In a babies smile or a good meal with close friends.
One day heaven will come down to arth and everything will be restored and made new.
Until then try viewing this life as a transition into eternity, instead of a place we cannot wait to escape.
This means the way we live and love matters greatly for those who are lost around us.
