You sound like my husband. But, I can't even hunt anymore. As a young girl I hunted, but after I had my kids it took the want to kill anything right out of me.
I know they have to go, but I think the God of this world who let them take control needs to stop them. If HE doesn't, HE does not love us, and is not OUR CREATOR.
How can HE tell us Not to Kill, then leave their punishment up to us? Sounds like a set up for judgement.

Please note, I had the same question. If I may offer what I found when I studied out the individual words in the bible verses.
I found there are different words for KILL and MURDER...but the bibles are translated only to say: KILL. (ex: thou shalt not kill)
It made a big difference in my understanding once I saw it correctly translated.

Kill, or murder for me are the same. I could not take another life unless I had to to protect another person. Then I hope I could stop at beating the dog piss out of them.

lol. I hear ya. As my screen name indicates, however, I am a person who esteems JUSTICE. Mercy has its place, of course, but Justice does as well, and I am ready to see some Justice in this world. Otherwise, what is the purpose of having laws?
Some of these creatures that walk among us..are not human.( Literally, not human.) Meaning..they are not creations of God. They have no spiritual or legal right to be in this realm in the first place. Even more so when they do unspeakable things to harm God's children.
It is wicked to do wickedness.
But, It is just as wicked to pervert justice by not carrying out the consequences the wicked have chosen/earned.
We all must make choices. Those choices have consequences that render the path of Life or the path of Death...even within the laws of man.
