You sound like my husband. But, I can't even hunt anymore. As a young girl I hunted, but after I had my kids it took the want to kill anything right out of me.
I know they have to go, but I think the God of this world who let them take control needs to stop them. If HE doesn't, HE does not love us, and is not OUR CREATOR.
How can HE tell us Not to Kill, then leave their punishment up to us? Sounds like a set up for judgement.

Shiela, by my years of research, I've come to the conclusion that our current version of The Bible was edited multiple times by the satanic Vatican, alterations meant to confuse us, just as you are pointing out. I also believe 711 Books were withheld, but all 777 Books will all be provided to the world soon, properly translated. That said...

Jesus does tell us in Luke 22:36...
“He said to them, ‘But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.’”

But also in the previously hidden Gospel of Thomas, which "the secret sayings which the living Jesus spoke and which Didymos Judas Thomas wrote down", Jesus also says:
"103) Jesus said, 'Fortunate is the man who knows where the brigands will enter, so that he may get up, muster his domain, and arm himself before they invade.'

I don't believe any more that we were EVER meant to "turn the other cheek" but instead were to be LIONS.

Please note, I had the same question. If I may offer what I found when I studied out the individual words in the bible verses.
I found there are different words for KILL and MURDER...but the bibles are translated only to say: KILL. (ex: thou shalt not kill)
It made a big difference in my understanding once I saw it correctly translated.
