i do think our parents and town esp mine, spread great love of our country our military and our veterans, our police fire men etc. our parades were soo special. half at least were in it. town of 4K. any special bands wer also invited.. to our small town.. bands from 5 schools coming their police firemen included. you felt proud of your town and your country in general.. this created the security that nothing like what we know now could ever happen and i see that in my friends. no- not in america. over and over.. because we could not even imagine the tip of the iceberg could even be possible.. wonderful town memories back in those days.. 40-60s especially.
