I collected a sample using tape that they are now escaping from and this is what I seen under magnification. Like they're mating or something

I'd say they're a tiny bug nobody knows about, except for photography nuts like me. I haven't taken photos of the minute wildlife in my garden for about 10 years. I used to go out every day I could with my Nikon and micro lens which could capture things down to around 0.5mm.

Springtails love moist places, I had a heap of them come into the house several years ago on the east kitchen wall. I left them and they left when they were ready, I can only think they came through gaps in the door!

This was under a Camellia leaf, you can see its babies under a web they weave,
Entomobrya nivalis. There's also Barkflies which live under tthe leaves, they appear to eat scale insects.

I have other photos of some with short antennae like in your video, yet to find them!

Possibly Brachystomella sp. I took in late 2009 at the bottom of my wall, old conrete below bricks. Latest I took was in December.

I have a lot of different species from that year.

Others I named Vertagopus arboreus, Hypogastruridae, Deuterosminthurus pallipes, Dicyrtomina ornata found under autumn leaves, Dicyrtomina saundersi . They feed on mosses. Sminthurinus niger and more.

Some were on water on top of a water barrel lid. They looked to be playing with different species, some with babies.
