Today like every day is a really good day to stock up on supplies,
like 30 days worth if you can. ROTATE STOCKS.
Be ready and prepared in case of emergency.
Canned & dry food (think rice, pasta, beans, etc.)
Bottled spring water, maybe a camping water filter.
Pet food. Medications.
Flashlight & batteries (cheap solar landscape lights work great).
Fill BBQ propane tanks to cook & boil. Got a fireplace, woodstove? Get wood.
Maybe a generator to power fridge, freezer, always run outdoors, use heavy extension cords. Spare fuel for that and your vehicle, safely stored.
Your preferred form of self-defense always at the ready.
Camping gear? Have it arranged & ready. Also organize documents/prize possessions you might carry with you.
Some cash on hand (if you can).
Maybe a CB or Ham Radio (CBs at truck stops for about $300)
HAVE A PLAN in case communications go down. Know where loved ones are & protect children & elderly 24/7.
BE PREPARED NOT SCARED.
