a Druid practice WAS TO SACRIFICE HUMANS
to appease the Gods & protect themselves.
Bands would go out & expect an offering;
money, food, but they also expected periodically
that the head of the household
would choose a human sacrifice from the household
& often it was a child.
That sacrifice would be prepared for sacrifice
& terrorized to adrenalize.
If someone gave their sacrifice
to these ‘priests’ practicing witchcraft
they would take a pumpkin
& put a candle in it made of human flesh
showing that household had made a sacrifice..

💯 George, Christmas in December is actually the celebration of Saturnalia or Season of Misrule in Ancient Rome where literally extreme debauchery including incest, bestiality & rape and every vile sin rampaged for weeks, until Rome itself was virtually destroyed, had to be limited eventually to 12 days (if I remember right), and gift giving (bribes) were a huge part of it, all under the orders an appointed Emperor who was slain at the end of "festivities" (Christmas Day), but who got to invoke all his vengeance upon enemies. Carthage the child-sacrificers overtook Rome, Phoenicians! Celebration to Saturn or Satan. It's PAGAN. Constantine was a PAGAN. Hid his religion overtop Christianity.
