The hunting land that was sold is Pisgah National forest.

Cue the music from the Twilight Zone, duckduckgo maps shows this national forest south west of Asheville. Google maps shows it north east of Asheville.

Yes.

According to an article Kris Williams posted:
"The main house remained undamaged by the storm - but downed trees and buildings in the low-laying Biltmore Village were flooded"

Click on the link below and there's a photo of the Biltmore and it looks intact. The only obvious damage is a fallen tree in the foreground.
