After Jesus healed me - which forever changed me, I read The Bible from beginning to the last page. I also went to prayer meetings and seminars and spoke with an extremely gifted daughter of God almost every day.
She wrote God inspired songs and I was lucky that she gave me tapes-to say they were inspirational is an understatement.
This dear friend could state a verse for every instance.
Once she said, about my paintings,
"Look at the gift He gave you."
I immediately said,
"Oh I'd paint even without God."
Then suddenly I could not breathe!
She read John 15 to me
15 “I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
