I think of all the kids who feel helpless and hopeless in whatever situation they find themselves. It brings tears to my eyes. Those people who can effectively make a difference are extremely valuable in today's world. We all can be someone's hero, even if for just one person. The satisfaction in helping others should be taught very early in life. By helping others, we condition our minds to instinctively help ourselves. Laying a foundation for our kids with words of wisdom they will carry forward is so important, just as we were given The Word of God. It stays with us, recorded forever, and can guide us through everything, if we choose to use it.
