🚨THREAD🚨: This anonymous letter on Capitol Police letterhead was distributed to members of the Capitol press pool and circulated by Rep. Jamie Raskin’s office to other Congress members on the evening of May 19, 2021. There are a few big problems…
…with this letter. As a department, Capitol Police do not issue anonymous press releases. Indeed, not of a political nature. This letter, drafted by a USCP officer, violates several USCP employee regulations.

Most egregiously, the author violated many departmental directives against using USCP time and resources for political purposes. The Blaze has learned that Capitol Police knows the identity of the officer who wrote this letter. The Blaze also knows the identity of the officer.⬇️

The most ominous aspect of what appears to be a low-level cover-up is that details related to this officer’s follow-up disciplinary action by Capitol Policewfere not revealed to defense teams by The Justice Dept before this officer testified in J6 trials. (Brady violation?)...
