Question; Is it possible to fly from the Midwest, north over the north pole and into Russia.. or south over the south pole and into Australia? We do not claim to have all the answers, yet a ton of questions.

I would think flying over the North Pole would throw off the magnetism for their instruments. Also there would be no place for emergency landings. The weather would be too cold to fly through that area not good for the plane or the people. I'm sure there's a lot of other reasons but those are just a few
