Why do raindrops bead up on a freshly waxed car?
Why does blowing bubbles form a ball shape?
If the earth is mostly water, why can't it form like a raindrop in the universe as The earth is in the same atmosphere as water droplets and bubbles?

I would think flying over the North Pole would throw off the magnetism for their instruments. Also there would be no place for emergency landings. The weather would be too cold to fly through that area not good for the plane or the people. I'm sure there's a lot of other reasons but those are just a few
